Ikrama Bin Abu Jahl was a great enemy of the Prophet Muhammed; he left no occasion to incite and harm Muslims. After the Victory of Mecca, he escaped and went to Yemen.  His wife embraced Islam and brought him to the Prophet Muhammad.  The Prophet was so pleased to see him and forgave all his deeds, and he greeted him with the words: “O emigrant rider, welcome.”
