Irresponsible Behaviour of an English Teacher
In continuation of irresponsible provocative practices, a teacher showed a cartoon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the students of a British school in Batley, West Yorkshire, prompting parents to protest outside the school which apologised and suspended the teacher.


Far-right Is a Threat to Democracy
The Federal Public Prosecutor General of Germany, Peter Frank, considered right-wing extremism to be the No. 1 threat to democracy, pointing out that the far right groups ideology has spread rapidly over the past few years, especially among advocates of violence.

A recent study by Jamileh Kadivar from the University of Westminster revealed how ISIS used Social Media to serve its terrorist goals, stating that ISIS viewed the Media as more powerful than military operations and called its SM activities as "information jihad."

Recent press reports revealed that dozens of Muslim children in Austria are still suffering from PTSD, as a result of raids carried out by the police on 70 Muslim homes last November, which caused significant psychological and health damages to the children.

Sawt Alhikma Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation commended the efforts exerted by a number of leaders of Muslim communities in countries of the Western world, to confront the rumors that have spread recently about Covid-19 vaccines, which claimed that the vaccines do not suit Muslims or are forbidden under Islamic law.


A New Book Traces the History of Islam in India
Ghazala Wahab's book, Born A Muslim, explores the history of Islam in India, and the lives of Indian Muslims over the years. The author indicates that Islam arrived in India through Muslim merchants, who relied on love and brotherhood to spread their religion.

Muslim Actors in Hollywood
Actor Riz Ahmed has been under the Western Media spotlight recently, after being nominated for Academy Award’s Best Actor, to become the first Muslim to be nominated in this category, which many see as a change in Hollywood’s negative stereotypical view of Muslims.


France Bans Halal Slaughter of Poultry
Several mosques in France criticized the new regulations set by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food to ban the slaughter of poultry in line with Islamic principles, as it "sends a negative message to the Muslim community in the country ahead of Ramadan."


“Find Similarities”
A recently launched campaign entitled, "Look for similarities, not differences," which is funded by the European Commission, aims to reduce Islamophobia in Europe by presenting entertaining illustrations that show what Muslims and non-Muslims have in common.
