The Sacred Months in Islam (Infographic)
Many Qur'an verses and Hadiths call to become closer to Allah through fasting, prayer and giving of charity during the sacred months in Islam, which are the three consecutive months: Dhu al-Qa'dah, Dhu al-Hijjah, Muharram, and the single month Rajab that is now passing by.


BBC’s Affirmative Response
The BBC removed the social media interview clip with Zara Mohammed, the Secretary General of the Islamic Council in Britain, after criticisms of it being biased against Muslims. The BBC promised to diversify its staff to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

Objection Letter to BBC
100 public figures signed a letter to the BBC criticising Radio 4's interview with Zara Mohammed, the secartary general of the Islamic Council in Britain. The interview was hostile and used biased phrases against Islam and Muslim women.


A Church Raises Funds for a Mosque
In a friendly gesture, a church in Denton, Texas started a fund-raising campaign to repair the damages that happened to the city's mosque due to winter's storm. The church members donated $50,000 in 6 days.
